Overview

We are committed to keeping our patients healthy and safe. We provide all varieties of lab testing including RAPID Antigen Testing, PCR Analysis testing for COVID, STD Tests, Blood Testing, etc. 

COVID-19 Discharge Instructions

1. You have been tested for the genes that cause COVID-19. What should you do while you wait for the results to come back?

  • Per the CDC (Center for Disease Control) recommendations: We recommend you self-isolate until you have received your results.
  • Testing results timing: You will typically receive an antigen result within 1 hour of testing. You will typically receive a PCR result within 1-2 days.

2.There is no proven treatment yet for this strain of virus. There are some things you can do to help increase your immune system and fight off the virus sooner: 

  • Take Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Zinc: Support immune health with essential vitamins and minerals.
  • Take Tylenol for body aches or fevers: Do not exceed more than 4000mg per day for safe relief.

3. How does the COVID-19 test work?

  • The staff will perform a swab in the nostril: The collected specimen will be tested for the presence of SarsCov-2 proteins/genes, which are associated with the virus.

4.Positive Test? 

  • Please self-isolate for a minimum of 5 days: Follow CDC guidelines for isolation here.
  • Most symptoms can be managed at home: Seek emergency care if you experience chest pain, severe cough, shortness of breath, unrelenting fevers, severe abdominal pain, or dehydration from diarrhea.
